Non-red itchy bumps on chest

For the past few months I have been getting raised bumps of varying sizes on my chest. They range from very small to about half an inch. They are not red, but they do itch. I get them sporadically and it's usually only one at a time. I use Benadryl extra strength cream to make them go away and it generally works quickly, but I want to know what the problem is. My skin is a bit sensitive, so that may have something to do with it.

I had a really bad outbreak the other night, but it went away. It's going to be difficult to see a dermatologist for this because the outbreaks are sporadic and fade away. I will try your suggestions though. Thank you!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These itchy bumps can be due to heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.

If the symptoms persist then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
