Numbness on the bridge of nose on the left side.

Hi , I was wondering if anyone knows this, lately I  am feeling slight heaviness and sort of numbness on the left side of my nose, near the bridge area. It's lightly swollen, which is hard to notice and slightly red, no pains. Also if I try pulling my nose to left, it feels a bit better with sensation and breathing.  Execuse me for my typos.

Hye there,
Thank you for your advice. Aplologise for being too late in replying. Have been swamped up with work lately, anyhow. I tried to research on it more and finally went to the the dermotologist the other day and I expressed my major concern if I was not suffering from hansen's disease. Just for the heck of peace of mind doctor agreed to favour me by having skin biopsy, with one tiny little stitch on my nose. After a few days my skin results came out okey and normal.
Funny thing is that I have had that feeling for quite a number of years, and right as doctor pulled out little skin off my nose, and onwards covered it with a little bandaid, it started feeling better right then and there, now I feels okey with my nose even my breaths out of nostril feels normal which comparatively before sometimes use to feel like as if I was having runny nose . I wonder if there was any nerve or some viens which was pressed before . It was a real very tiney cut doctor made and i felt all normal.
The purpose for which skin biopsy was done was to overrule hansen disease which was totally different to the results i got a better nose even though the surgery was not meant for that. But the bottom line i feel better. I have been using 100percent  aloe vera gel on my face and nose which is really great.
Thank you for reaching out to me .

Hello,
These symptoms are common in alcoholics and metabolic disorders like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidism. They can also be due to vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition.

Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the tingling is gone or not.

In case the symptoms persist then please consult a neurologist as it can be due to some neurological disorder. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
