Good Morning Dr. Rockoff,
I have posted this question in the other dermatology forum and I just thought I would post it here in the expert forum.
Here is some background on me, I recently went for a physical last month and had my blood work done and everything checked out, and my triglycerides were high and I had elevated liver functions, long story short I wasn't eating right and working out enough so I went for a ultrasound of my abdomen and then a ct scan and they found a fatty liver. Other than that I have been eating healthy and working out every evening, running and playing soccer on the weekends.
My family is from England so I'm fair skinned with blond hair blue eyes, my mum and brother have Eczema and I don't think I have it because I've never really had a rash or anything like that.
My question is I noticed these blood dots / vein looking things under the surface of my skin on my biceps and a few on my stomach, I have asked my Brother and my Sister and they said that they get them and I don't know if I should be concerned or not. Would these be from stress or running? I have been under a lot of stress lately just generally worrying about my health.
I don't have any other dots my body other than the ones I've seen on my right bicep to my left bicep and on my stomach.
I'm currently awaiting approval to see a Dermatologist since I have a few moles I would removed but I'm going to ask him the same thing I'm asking you.
Below is the response I received when I asked this in the non expert forum:

Hi,
These tiny dots are most probably broken blood capillaries. These are known as petechiae. They occur as a result of physical trauma, allergic reaction or as a side effect of medications like aspirin. I would advise you to relax as you seem to be in perfect health, just protect your skin from trauma.Take care!
Thank you again for taking the time to read my post.
