Penile fungal, yeast infection complication

HI,

A little over a month ago I've had some burning on the top of my penis and some red spots that was diagnosed as fungal infection by my urologist. Urine test was negative. He recommended Nizoral. Unfortunately my insurance didn't cover it so I settled for Chlotrimazole, which did nothing in a week or so using it. I found out online about Fluticasone and decided to give it a try. I did use it for 2 weeks, but it didn't do much of anything. Then (to avoid another visit to my urologist) I ordered nizoral online and have been using it for 2 week. Now, nizoral has made my penis even worse. Redness spread out all over it. Burning of my tip of the penis increased dramatically. I went to my urologist and he was very disappointed I used another cream and that I ordered nizoral online (not even from US) instead of seeing him for another prescription. He told me to stop using all creams and  to visit dermatologist for biopsy. I'm really scared now. There is persistent burning of the tip of my penis and the skin on the tip looks all wrinkled with the rest of the skin being glossy and unnatural. I have some numbness around the tip and it really scares me. Did anybody have something like that and got over it? Please help!

Feels like talking to myself, but maybe somebody sees something in common and eventually reaches out to me. I'm seeing another doctor, with whom I once again did urine test, blood test and urethral culture test. Everything is fine... But penile rash doesn't go away. After I told my history and symptoms (besides persistent rash I have burning tip of the penis, rectal discomfort (pressure and burning), loose (almost diarrhea like) stool she said it could be NGU and gave me a shot of ceftriaxone. I felt relief for few days, but on the 5th day penile rash became even worse (around the gland) and burning and rectal discomfort returned. I'm seeing her in 2 days, but I don't know what more we can try. The only test left is biopsy, but it's obvious it's more to the story than just penile rash.
I even tried valtrex, but it did very little. If it's fungal in nature - why it doesn't get treated with 1) clotrimazole; 2) ketoconazole; 3) terconazole ? I don't have diabetes or HIV. Always had good immune system, but now it's like my body doesn't want to fight it for whatever reason.

I went to a different doctor, made all tests under the sun, everything is negative with the exception of HSV-1 (blood test), but since I've had herpes on my lips since childhood I doubt it has anything to do with my penile rash. Anyway I followed doc's instructions and took valtrex for 2 weeks. It barely cleared rash, maybe made it a little less visible, but didn't do much to completely eliminate it. So now doc thinks it could be eczema and gave me strong steroid cream (clobetasol propionate). I'm applying it for a week and all it does is making it look better (cosmetically) but the underlying rash is still there and is clearly visible especially after any friction like masturbation. Sometimes red spots appear on my inner foreskin and if I keep foreskin retracted it subsides. I'm going crazy, I don't know what's with me. I'm thinking to do test for prostatitis as it does burn at the tip of my penis.

If anybody was going through something like that please share. I'm desperate for some positive stories.

After a week of 2% ketoconazole - no improvement. The moment I decided to give it a try without a cream - fungus reappeared. My urologist will do biopsy. I'm an emotional wreck. If anybody had anything like this or knows anybody who had anything like that, couldn't beat it for a while and then succeeded, please share with me. I really need help.

Update: after I stopped using creams my skin was slowly returning to normal, but about a week ago fungus returned. It's so frustrating that I can't get rid of it. Urologist suggested to use nizoral cream (prescription) again. I'm very sad.

I have had similar, I have used Daktacort twice daily for 2 weeks and once daily for another week. Then I use fat cream (Locobase Fet Crem) inbetween and in fact I use that fat cream for few days whenever I find the penis head getting strange or dry. No sure if you are circumsised, im not.
