Penis bumps.

by MBH8280, Oct 17, 2006 12:00AM
I have these little bumps on my penis. I'm a 26 year old male. They look almost like small pimples, and sometimes a white "threadish" material, almost like like a thick, white hair comes out. I pull it out, and when I feel the bump it feels as if some of the white studd id still in there. I looked for pictures onlince but couldn't find any that matched. Sometimes they are more visibal than other times. It seems like they are more visibal the more I masturbate. But in periods of low masturbation, they can barely be seen. They also don't look like any STD that i've ever seen. A while back an ex gielfriend of mine said she had HPV. Could that be what I have? From what I have researched, the HPV she had, if I had it, it would be gone in a year, but i've had these bumps for a few years now. Please, any information you could give me would greatly help. Thank you.

I think these are most likely the small cysts that are common and normal on the penis.  They belong there and need not be removed.  In fact, they really can't be removed.  I suggest that you show them to your doctor the next time you go, and then forget about them.

Take care.

Why is it that the so called Cyst never goes away?

Why should it?  It's part of your skin.
