Persistant Rashes on my Arms

Persistant Rashes on my Arms

For the past few weeks I've had a series of rashes on my arms. They start out small and don't always itch or bother me. It's also strange that the rash goes away but a few days later it comes back but in a different spot on my arms.

What is also strange is that the rash doesn't stick to a particular look, sometimes it's bumpy and raised while having imperfect edges and being rather itchy, other times it's smooth, pink, with the middle looking like normal skin, like ringworm, but it doesn't itch. I've searched the internet as to what it is but none of my symptoms match up. Could you help me?

Hi,

You could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the itching.

Have you had allergic reactions in the past? Are you allergic to any specific substances?

You would still need to consult your doctor about the associated symptoms you are having and to rule out any vitamin or mineral deficiency or bacterial or fungal infection or insect bite and whether you need a course of antibiotics or other medications.

Let us know about how you are doing and post us about what your doctor advises.

Regards.
