I have a persistent rash that won't go away, but don't know what it is?

I have a rash on my forearms, upper arms I get it on my chest breast and thighs. It is a non-raised non-itchy pinkish unsightly rash that spread on my body I've had it for months but I don't know what it is I've been to doctor she said it's most likely an allergy but I've tried nothing new or eaten anything new I've switch shampoos and soaps but still nothing can you please help? I wake up with this everyday?
