12 year old skin tan spots

My 12 year old daughter brought to my attention these tan colored areas on her left arm. I have looked with a magnify glass there are no white spots. You really have to be next to her to notice it so it is not a major difference . She also has one her right eye lid square shaped she is very upset. Some it tis lacy. Above  both elbows she has  dark brown looks like paint whipped on spots. All areas do not itch or peel.  They are flat. She has a appt with her doc in about a 1week. But I  bumped in to Café au lait spot for NF 1 and other possible health issues. My daughter is light skin and has alot moles. My daughter goes  in the sun but uses sunscreen of spf of  55. I know nobody can diagnose etc. My daughter is very smart & athletic.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be pityriasis versicolor or pityriasis alba. Pityriasis versicolor is caused by an overgrowth of a yeast fungus and are found mainly on sun exposed areas. Pityriasis alba is a common hypopigmented dermatitis. This is a self-limited disorder that usually resolves by adulthood.Severe cases may benefit by Psoralen plus ultraviolet light A photochemotherapy (PUVA).

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
