Rash Help Please

I have been getting these single bumps recently. One on my outer thigh 2 days ago that when I scratch it the itching and redness seems to spread. Within an hour or so it is gone. It looks and feel like a mosquito bite.

Last night i had one bump on my lower left abdomen. I did not scratch it. This morning i was lookinf for where it was so i could see if there were any residual affects. I could not find any but when i started touching it redness and now some small bumps in the area have startet. they look like small mosquito bites and itch like that.

Please help

Hello,
Insect bites or bed bugs present as itchy, red small lesions which do not disappear so fast. Scabies presents with S-shaped burrows in the skin, and are often accompanied by small, insect-type bites that may look like pimples. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

If this was bed bugs or scabies the affected area would not clear up within an hour or two

Hello,
From the symptoms it sounds like hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rashes. If the symptoms persist then topical or oral steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
