Strange Tube on shaft of penis has puss coming out

On the shaft of my penis I have a strange tube that is under the skin.  It goes from about the end of bottom of my head and comes to the skin of the shaft.  When I squeeze it a substance much like puss comes out.  I've had this for nearly 20 years but it's only been in the last couple of months that it started squeezing out puss.   I can't find anything about it on the internet.   Any ideas?

Thank you so much.  I have not had this since birth that I know of.   I was about 20 when I got it the first time.  It was rather large at the surface opening and was all red and black.  I saw a dr at a family planning clinic and she thought it was nothing to worry about.  It never went away completely.  I didn't really worry about it because it never showed signs of slowing me down, until lately with the apparently infection, it seems to be irritated or something.   I'm having trouble describing it because it... but it's kind of like a sinus, I suppose.... it litteraly is like a tube right under the skin on the shaft and comes out the side of the skin...
I'll consult a urologist to see if they can help.   Thank you.

Hi,

Have you had this condition at birth?

This sounds like a "tract" which could have been due to a structural abnormality or may be secondary to a  chronic infection that starts draining.

Have you had any repeated infections in the area before?

Are there any problems with urination?

Any problems with sexual response? Any recurrent urinary tract infections?

I suggest that you have this assessed by a urologist. A penile ultrasound and a culture of the discharge will be able to help guide treatment. A complete physical examination is necessary. This may need further evaluation if a chronic infection is established.
