Rash on face, chest and nape of neck

I am 42 years old and have had a rash on the bridge of my nose, forehead, behind my ears, chest, nape of neck, back hairline and the cuticle of my fingers are sensitive and red.  I also have a slight rash on my fingers.  The rash appeared in January 2010 after moving into a new house and I still have it.  I have seen three physicians, a dermatologist and an allergist and no one can figure out what I have except that they think I am having an allergic reaction to something.  I have had steroid shots, prendisone, and another steroid medication that starts with an "m" but I can't remember the name, Zyrtec, Xyzal and Ranitidine.  I have changed my shampoo to Neutrogena, stopped using hairspray and use Neutrogena lotion.  Nothing is working.  Do you have any ideas what this could be it is driving me crazy.

Since the rash has started after you moved in the new house, hence it can be due to allergic reaction like allergy to dustmites or mold( if you are having it in the house) . I suggest you to consult an allergist and get allergy tests like skin allergy tests( skin ***** and patch tests) and blood tests like RAST done.

If it is due to an allergic reaction, then prevention of that allergen is the best treatment.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
