Reaccuring irritation in groin area

Firstly, I am posting this under dermatology because I am beginning to think this is a skin issue even though it involves the groin area. About 3 weeks ago I had an irritating pain on my inner left labia. It was red...no sore or bump (area was very dry, shiny looking), however I was tested twice for Herpes and it came back negative (swab tested the red irritated area). I wasn't sure what was going on. I had been shaving the entire area all summer and also got a brazilian wax, so I thought maybe I had follicultis since there were alot of razor bumps in the area too. Eventually it faded, but last night after 5 week of not shaving I gave in (because the hair was itching) and shaved the area. I again noticed a pain on my left inner labia. But this time I could see a bump (for all I know it could have been there awhile but the hair was just covering it). It is red (longer, like a lump), seems to have a hair next to it/in it. It is not sore to the touch but it hurts alittle. I also have a couple hard bumps on the outside of the labia, flesh colored, they seem to be like pimples, but without white heads...they do not hurt at all. What could this be? Does this sound like follicultis? Could it have lasted this long? I also have itching at the top of my vagina with red bumps, they were there even when I didn't shave. I have psoriasis on my arm, leg, and scalp...has spreaded over the past year (started on my arm, went to the front of my calf) could this be effecting my groin area? I'm just hoping for some help. Any idea what this could be or how to treat it?

I had the same thing although I went to my doctor who said it was genital warts I obviously freaked out and went for a second opinion it turned out I wasn't changing my razor enough. The doctor told me to use aloe vera try not to wear underwear unless it was 100% cotton refrain from vigorous sex(not as easy as it sounds ) also to use disposables once and throw them out plus not to shave until they where gone trimming is ok though. Anyways it's been over a month and slowly they are going away. But it's not easy I put aloe on all day and don't wear underwear unless I have to go out and use an anti bacterial soap like teraseptic which will prob give you a yeast infection or just use dove but makesure it's for sensitive skin and not perfumed. Either way it takes a while to get rid of and try not to touch the bumps as it will irritate it more also a hot washcloth held down there will also help relieve the irritation try another doctor too incase it is something more serious. Good luck and I hope this helps:)
