Red Bump that only itches when I touch it

I have a red spot in the middle of my thigh that's a little bit raised and only itches when I touch it. It doesn't hurt or anything, but it obviously isn't normal and shouldn't be there. It's about the size of a quarter, there's no pus or fluid in it. It's been there for at least three weeks and doesn't seem to be going away at all. No insurance, so I can't go to the doctors. If it helps, I'm 25 years old, female, and this is the first time this has happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
