Red Marks

Hi
A few weeks ago, I noticed this almost perfectly round bruise type mark on my ankle. It doesn't hurt, and it's not raised at all. I thought nothing of it and just left it. Today I noticed another one about an inch away from the other and it's the same size and shape. I don't wear shoes that go up that high and I don't wear socks in the summer. There's nothing that comes in contact with that area of my ankle so it's really odd. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm 24 years old. None of the marks are raised and it's not itchy, or sore in anyway. They're about the size of a nickel. I'm not sure what you mean by gum character

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

How old are you?

These discolorations or rash on the lower extremities may have dermatitis, fungal infections as well as vascular disorders as differentials. In the presence of any rash on the area which may be associated with bleeding of the gums or changes in the character of the urine ,this rash may need further evaluation. Also, varicosities in the area and pain in the legs after prolonged walking may suggest a problem with venous blood flow.

Are these associated symptoms of varicosities and changes in urine or gum character present?
