Red Spots

Hello.
I am a man of 32 years. I am overweight.
About a month ago, I left some red spots on his back near the waist, which were resected. Also in the arms, which are dry and virtually disappeared. Others are still in the outskirts of the axillae and nipples, still red and sometimes I get itchy. They are more scaly and red when I shower with hot water.
As I said before, these spots are red, sometimes cause itching, are scaly and look like "wrinkled".
It gives me more itchy to be very warm (it's winter here) or use woolen clothing.
Use clotrimazole but I have not had any improvement.
I also noticed itching on the scalp and sometimes dandruff.
Thanks for your help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It sounds like seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp under the nose or anywhere on face. You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.

If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist

I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.

May be a dandruff based seborrheic dermatitis.Hydrocorisone creme would help.A antihistamine at bedtime would sedate and control itching.
