Red bumps on chest and stomach

Two red blotches appeared on chest.  Five days later, after using Dial soap, my chest and stomach were covered in red bumps.  They aren't itchy and don't bother me except for their appearance.  Could these be from allergies?  Should I go to the doctor?

Hi,
It does seem to be an allergic reaction to the soap. The pathological reaction that takes place on your skin due to foreign particles is considered as allergy rash.

It presents as itchy and swollen red bumps or patches all over the body or can be restricted to some parts. This kind of skin inflammation with swollen red itchy patches all over the body is the most common form of allergy rash.

Treatment is with anti-histamines to combat the main cause of the rash- histamine - released in the body during the reaction. They are Cetrizine/Loratidine etc.
Also you can apply Calamine lotion on the itchy area to relieve the symptoms.
