Red spots on arms, legs, thighs & torso

I have recurring red spots on my arms, legs, thighs and torso. First I get the feeling as if something is crawling on me and sometimes a stinging feeling like a bug bite. After, when I am able to look at the area I notice a measle-like rash, however, it rarely itches.
Based upon internet research I believed that I had body lice, however, I have seen no evidence of this and my dermatologists, thought other wise, yet prescribed 2 tubes of Permethrin Cream, which I have used in addition to lice shampoo, but the problem still persist.
At this time I'm unsure of what is plaguing me and any assistance in solving this issue will be truly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be insect bites. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
