Red spots on toddler foot

Hello hoping someone out there can help me out. I just discovered a red flat spots on my 2 almost 3 year old daughter, she complained about itchyness for a little bit, but nothing to the extreme. I checked her sneakers to see if perhaps there was something there botheringher, but found nothing. The spots are on both feet, and on the heel , arch, and area where she steps, found a few spots along the side, but nothing on the topof her feet. I am thinking perhaps this might be a heat rash since it's getting warmer, but i am concerened naturally. I am going to take her to the pediatrician in 1 day or so if the spots don't disappear. Can anyone out there relate, have you heard of this???
