What could be causes to extreme sensitivity to water?

I'm a 25 year old female and since I was a kid I have been extremely sensitive to water where my hands are concerned. We all know that the wrinkling/pruning of the skin is normal. Where one person might be in the pool, ocean etc for 1-2 hours and just barely be pruned/wrinkled my hands and my feet within 10-20 minutes of the same above scenario become extremely wrinkled and pruned to the point that my hands cannot absorb anymore and cause me pain. The only solution I have is to retreat, dry off and wait for them to become normal again. However the simple tasks such as- washing of dishes, washing a dog etc causes the above issue to rise up again and again. I have been unable to figure out what causes this and what it might be called and am hoping someone might have an explanation since my sensitivity to water is out of the norm.

Hello,
It can be due to dehydration and exposure to harsh soap and water. The other possibility is of aquagenic wrinkling of the hands which can be treated by 20% Aluminium Chloride Hexahydrate. Minimize contact with water and use mild soap like dove for washing hands. Also hydrate and protect hands by applying a moisturizing cream. At night, repair them with creams formulated from glycolic acid—a must for improving skin texture and tone. For a more intensive nighttime treatment, apply cream and then cover hands with gloves or socks.
If the symptoms worsen or persist then please consult a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and God bless.
