Single Red Bump in the Pubic Region?

First off I have not had sex in over a year. Though I am worried as I have gotten a couple red bumps in the pubic region. These red bumps have only showed up a couples times and always only ONE bump at a time. They seem to be like a bug bite. No irritation, soreness, pain, or puss seems to come from them nor do they have any white/black head. They also come and go without any discomfort. It seems like a bug bit me or there is a blood clot under the skin.

I've been know to get more pimples in my waist, thighs, crotch, and *** areas then any where else but these do not seem like any white/black head. Nor under-the-skin pimple.

Please help? What could these strange bumps be?

Hello,
This singles red bump can be due to folliculitis skin or cyst in the area. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.

If the symptoms persist then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
