Hello,
From the suddenness of symptoms,it sounds like allergic contact dermatitis, allergies or hives.Take some antihistaminics like Claritin or Benadryl(causes drowsiness) and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. Also apply some steroid cream like Dermacort and wear cotton clothes.

If the symptoms persist then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
