Skin infection?

I had what appeared to be an insect bite on my hand between my pinky and ring fingers. After a couple days it grew into a pus-filled blister-like growth. Once it popped it began to ooze pus, and smaller growths developed beside it. It has not scabbed over and continues to ooze, and there are now two smaller bumps beside the original sore. What could this be and how can I treat it?

Hello,
These kind of blisters can be due to friction blisters or pemphigoid. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also apply Neosporin cream and take some anti inflammatory pain killers.

If the symptoms persist then pls get evaluated for myxoid cyst or herpetic whitlow from a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
