Skin penis irritation

Hello

Okay now, I have noticed that on my penis head has like 3 tiny bump the color of the penis head.  I go over them with my finger to see if I can feel the bump but they don't feel bumpy at all it's as if it is smooth as the penis head. When the penis is erect, you can't  really tell that the bumps are there, looks like as the penis erects the bumps shrink.  I try to stretch the penis head to see if i can feel the bumps but they dissapper when they are stretched out.  They are not clustered on top of each other at all but are somewhat close to one another.  They do not hurt, itch, or pain whatsoever.  I had unprotected sex with a girl about a month and a half ago..  I masturbated today and saw that that bumps look irritated and turned red but after a couple of minutes they changed back to the color of the head.  Now my question is does this sound like herpes symptoms??I have had them for about 4 days now and no symptoms whatever.  What other things can this sound like?

Thank you

Hello Doctor Rowena,

Thank you for responding to my post.  My symptoms are the same.  These little bumps do not like blisters and doesn't look like I can pop then.  They are just there with no pain whatsoever.  I've had them for about 2 weeks and haven't changed in form.   The only other symptom I have is that lately my penis gland has been producing a lot of smegma.   heard this can be to some sort of infection.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? The lumps could be due to a variety of issues such as pearly penile papules, lichen planus, irritation and infection. Genital herpes usually presents with  small, painful blisters filled with clear or straw-colored fluid that blister after a few days. If it persists, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Diagnostic tests may need to be done to rule out STIs. Take care and do keep us posted.
