Skin rash on right cheek

I am a 34 year old guy from Europe. since february 2010 i am being treated for an eye condition called Uveitis with 15 mg of methotrexate once a week. and also i take 1mg of folic acid the next day. This march 2011 i developed a small pimple on my right cheek. the pimple went away after 4 days but after that a redness remained there there.the redness faded after 2 weeks and then a small brownish rash under the skin was there for another month and a half before disappearing completely..at the time i thought it might have been related to my methotrexate. but i thuoght that since i was already on methotrexate for more than a year before this incident that it might not be related to this medicine and it might not have been caused by that.

4 days ago on my right cheek again i saw a small redness. but no pimple..it is quite small and it is in the same place i had the other rash 5 months ago..just a bit lower......it is weird because it is a small red rash and there is no pimple...i am thinking it is something that might go away again...in time...it will cause hyperpigmentation again after a few days/weeks, and finally will go away after a month or more...but i want to get rid of it a bit quicker if possible

is there anything that i could do for it to go away more quickly? any creams you would reccomend? anything i could do? and could it be related to methotrexate?

.

it is a small red rash on my right cheek that has been like this for 4 days now..and i am thinking it might have the same course and lifetime as my previous rash 5 months ago...

i want to point out that i have not had any side effects while taking methotrexate..i do blood tests every 3,4 months..liver functions and everything else is perfect..

please help,

thank you

yes, 5 months ago when i got in touch with a dermatologist online , they told me that it could be a photosensitivity rash , because methotrexate causes photosensitivity to the skin...either way thank you for all your help..really apreciated!

take care

Though it might just turn out to be just a photo sensitivity rash it is prudent to check.
Best wishes.

thank you, will do..i just want to point out that it is only one small rash...with no pimple..and it look slike it s inside the skin...either way will consult a derm very soon.

the good news is that my eyes have been quiet from uveitis for almost a year now..i hope that i will be able to win this terrible disease too because it has been a terrible psychological struggle over the last 3 and half  years..luckly my vision is still perfect and hoping it will remain like this forever..thanks for your help

Now that you are showing up these telangectasias on the cheek.(blood vessel like rash) sure do consult a derm.Rare cases of rosacea do present like this.
Best wishes.
