Sometimes urethritis is just a simple bacterial infection.  The doctor would give you antibiotics.  A really good natural way is using uva ursi.  It's very affective.  Use for one week only.  I had a urinary tract infection that was non STD, and I cured it in just a few days with the uva ursi.

Hi,

It is good that you have negative tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Urethral itching can be a symptom of urethritis.  Are there other signs or symptoms present? Unprotected sex is a significant risk factor for urethritis or other STDs. However, Nongonococcal urethritis (NGU)  is said to be 50% of cases and  presents with a longer incubation period than with GCU and a subacute onset of either dysuria or, less commonly, a mucopurulent discharge.

Other differentials such as epydidimitis, prostatitis or orchitis should also be ruled out. If it persists, it would be best to see your doctor for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
