Small boil healed externally, but left a hard lump?

Hi, so I had a bump, zit, ingrown hair, or small boil on my inner thigh over a month ago. It hurt, so I put some benzoyl peroxide cream on it. It healed. It never came to a head, drained or popped. The surface has healed, it's flat & purplish pink now. It doesn't hurt or itch. BUT... there is a lump just under the skin. It's pea/blueberry sized. Its pretty hard.

I tried applying heat & salves etc... but she's surface healed & 100% not gonna drain. Is it ok to just leave this bump in there? Will it go away eventually on it's own & just dissolve?

IDK what to do. I think putting the peroxide on it dried the outside out, so it was prevented from draining/popping. For once in my life I did the "right" thing & didn't mess with it, poke it, pop it, etc... and of course THIS happens!
