Hello,
Apart from blood work, you can also get a skin biopsy done from a dermatologist as it will help in confirming the diagnosis. If it is itchy then fungal infections need to be ruled out by means of a KOH examination of skin scrapings.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Thanks again for your reply...you answered my other one too and I appreciate it.
I do not recall the "sores" ever causing pain. I have oral herpes and I know how painful that could be plus the look and feel of it of course.
Waiting on my blood work. I can speculate all day long...need my results.
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).
if the bumps are painful then herpes sores is an important possibility.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
ok this was not meant to be posted here. Sorry.
