Strange Cellulite, Tingling, Darkening

Hello,

I have somehow developed cellulite on my legs (thighs) within the span of about two weeks, maybe less. The incident began after I came home from my daily run because the inside of my legs began to feel different and uncomfortable as I walked into the house. After I looked to see what was causing the discomfort, I noticed about 5 heavy stretch marks in my inner thigh on one leg. About a week after the stretch marks formed after the run, cellulite began to form as well. However, the cellulite is strange; the skin is somewhat darkened where the cellulite forms. Now there are darkened blotches of skin on both of my legs, accompanied by cellulite. Also, my legs feel strange, bad, different, and tingly where the cellulite is. It formed rapidly within the span of just several days. Now it constantly feels as if there are light electric shocks going through my legs where the cellulite is, it doesn't hurt, it's just terribly unpleasant.

This is particularly strange because I am a healthy 19 year old female, I exercise and run regularly. I am at a healthy weight. My family has no history of cellulite, and currently I am the only one to have cellulite yet I am at the healthiest weight out of my family. I have never had cellulite until this strange appearance, and I have no cellulite on any other part of my body.

Could this be some kind of lymphatic drainage problem? Or something else? Please help, it's the beginning of summer and I can't go out anywhere without being conscious of this issue.

Hello,
From the symptoms peripheral vascular disease and varicose veins( although less likely) need to be ruled out. Varicose veins are veins that have become enlarged and twisted. The term commonly refers to the superficial veins on the leg, although varicose veins occur elsewhere.smptoms include tortuous, dilated veins , aching, heavy legs, redness, dryness, and itchiness of areas of skin and ankle swelling.

I suggest you to get both these possibilities evaluated from a physician. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
