Strange mark behind left ear

Dear All,

My girlfriend found a strange light brown colored mark behind her left ear. The mark has no specific shape and it's slightly prominent. My girlfriend just found it yesterday while scratching the area and said that it's the first time she noticed it. In addition I asked her if it's hitching and she said no.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some clue of what it can be or what treatment she should get if needed.

Photo attached for better understanding.
Thanks!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be a mole or seborrheic keratosis which is a benign skin growth. If you notice changes in the mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
