Sudden rash looks like misquito bites

Hello.

Today after I got home from work around two a.m., I went to bed. About after an hour of laying there I noticed the sides and back of my neck itched. Suddenly, it itched a lot, and the itching was spreading down my body. I noticed it didn't feel right so I got up and l took a look. The problem looked to me like a rash and at the same time kind of like a lot of mosquito bites. IT started at my neck, went down to by shoulders, back, stomach and even thighs and ankles. What was weird is that it even made my head itch. I immediately took a long, good shower before putting everything I wore, including my blankets and pillows, to wash, afraid that I might spread it to other people. I just took four fever pills just in case it was something internal. I know I shouldn't have taken so many but I have to work tomorrow(today) and I'm afraid it will affect me.

I'm resisting the urge to scratch but I would really enjoy some time of information, even though I know the spreading might be purely psychosomatic.

Please and Thanks

I recently just got the same thing. I noticed the itch last night, but it wasn't until this morning that the hives started breaking out. At first I just thought they were misquito bites, but then I looked on my stomach and there are hives that are about 6 inches long and occasional red dots around some of them. I went camping this weekend, got really sunburned and did canoe for 6 hours, but the itching I can't handle is my head and behind my knees. I haven't done anything differently, and I clean my house the same as I always have. Im allergic to bees and as far as I know thats the only thing, but Im pretty sure I didn't get stung by a bee or a wasp. I did get bite by a bunch of misquitos though

Hi,
This seems to be an allergic out-break, maybe due to an insect bite or it could also be due to any other stimulus.
There are hundreds of different allergy triggers, but the most common ones include pollens, molds, dust mites (tiny creatures that live in household dust), animal dander, and industrial chemicals.
Hives is an allergic skin reaction causing localized redness, swelling, and itching.Hives is an allergic reaction.
Bee, wasp, and hornet stings ,bites of mosquitoes, fleas, and scabies can all elicit allergic re-ACTIONS.
You can take OTC anti-histamines to ease the rash as well as the itching, for about a week.If you can figure out what is causing it, try and avoid that.
