Symptoms Affiliated with Erythema Nodosum

by want2knowmore, Apr 24, 2008 07:12PM
My mother has been suffering from fever for over 3 weeks now.  With the initial onset of fever for about a week, she started to get red bruising that looked like insect bites.  The doctors did a biopsy and concluded it to be Erythema Nodosum, even though the report said Lobular Panniculitis, nonspecific.  So my worry is more about the fevers than the spots.  Are there known cases where the fevers just keep continuing?  She is on her fourth week now and I think the fevers and chills bother her more than the nodules on her legs.

Should we continue to look into something else or is this common?

Thanks!
