uncontrollably itchy feet & sometimes hands

I am a 36yo female that has been dealing with this uncontrollable itching since I was about 24.
Doctors think i'm nuts and my bf is just like ok your crazy or over reacting!
I told him you don't get it, it's so bad it makes me want to cut my feet off!
It's ALWAYS only at night. It's mostly my feet and toes but, sometimes my hands and fingers.
It's my entire foot and ankle area. Tops of feet, bottoms, toes, ankles EVERYTHING on both feet!
I don't have to be sleeping it starts within a hour of laying down trying to wind down. It has woke me from a dead sleep before.
The itch is so deep scratching doesn't stop it and it just has to die down on it's own.
Skin always looks normal, no rash no redness no bumps.
Happens 3-5 nights a week.
I do have a history of depression and bi polar but, it happens weather i'm happy or not or weather i'm stressed or not.
My back used to itch too as soon as I laid down to unwind but, that's seemed to have slowed down.
My theory for myself is a underlying auto immune disease but, who knows!
Could be a nerve disorder but, it's driving me INSANE and has been for many many years!
I do take A LOT of Goody's Powder for migraines, any where from 4-8 a day.

If anyone has anything please let me know!

There is absolutely NO pain just a deep god awful itch that last 1-3 hours sometimes up to 4-5 hours *CRIES*

I get itchy ankles when I eat too much citrus fruits like tangerines. Sugar seems to cause itching. It seems cumulative. The more sugar I eat the itchier my legs get. Different types of sugar  seem to cause itching in different parts of the body. Warmth like being in bed makes it worse. Gluten intolerance may also play a role. I believe some of the antibiotics I have had to take over the years  have changed my immune system, especially Ceclor.  Try to figure out if some of the foods you are eating are causing your problems. It has taken me years to figure all this out. The medical profession doesn't seem to have a clue, just give you more antibiotics.

If you are itching without a rash, it could be a sign of a more serious condition or even a minor condition.  Sometimes even something like exposure to water can cause itching without a rash, it could be something topical you are using, a medication,  or it could be something more serious like kidney disease.
It sounds like you have been to a few doctors, but I'd go back to more and push for answers- don't give up!
