What is this lesion?

What is this lesion?

I have been to 5 different doctors and recieved different answers from each one. Three of them have told me it is an allergic reaction while two of them told me it could be HSV1, however, they were unsure because it was not noticeable at the time of visit.

What is this lesion that spawns around my lip line? It develops instantaneously and sometimes I do not notice it until I look in the mirror. It develops in minutes and goes away in 1 to 2 days. It never burns, clusters, itches, or scabs, but it gets inflamed and sometimes I can feel/sense it. It appears in different spots on lipline and it occurs almost weekly. I am highly allergic to milk, shellfish, dust, mugwort, and cockroaches.

What is going on? Please help me it has taken a huge number on my self confidence.

Thanks for your answer.

I have recently seen a dermatologist, however my symptoms were not present during the visit. I am currently recording a food diary to see what is causing the problem. In two weeks I will see the doctor again with my completed diary and find the results of a blood test taken.

Again, thank you and I will keep you posted.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like an allergic reaction or dermatitis to me. It does not look like a cold sore due to HSV1. Pain, burning, tingling, or itching occurs at the infection site before the sores appear. Then clusters of blisters erupt which break down.

You need to get some investigations like sample from the sores to identify the virus, culture analysis, Tzanck smear, antigen and antibody studies and blood sampling for antibody studies done to confirm the diagnosis. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
