Hello,
You seem to be having hives (urticaria). Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.
It looks like that you are having the problem of chronic urticaria. It is defined as urticaria that persists for longer than 6 weeks. In most of the cases of chronic urticaria, the underlying pathology is idiopathic i.e it is not linked to any cause. It is essential to rule out the presence of serious illnesses of which recurring hives can be a symptom. Examples are hepatitis, hyperthyroidism, lymphomas, collagen vascular diseases, and cancers of the rectum, kidneys and gastrointestinal tract.Chronic urticaria is often accompanied by coexistent physical urticaria, triggered by environmental exposure to heat, cold, sunlight, vibration, pressure on the skin or even exercise.Pls discuss this possibility with your dermatologist.
Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.

Hi Dr,
Just wanted to give you an update about my dermatologist recent visit….this time Doctor did the allergy patch test and blood work for “C1 esterase Inhibitor Function” and now waiting for the result…
2) As Dr told me that he already did the blood work for ..Glucose, kidney, lever, lupus, collagen vascular diseases, hepatitis and thyroid test..and all result was negative.
As per dermatologist the reason for this rash is unknown and he is not sure why this happening …Please help me to find the solution.
Thanks in Advance...
Hello,
The cause of chronic urticaria is often more difficult to identify. Most cases are called chronic idiopathic urticaria, which means they're caused by the body's unexplainable development of antibodies to itself (auto-antibodies).
Chronic urticaria is often accompanied by coexistent physical urticaria, triggered by environmental exposure to heat, cold, sunlight, vibration, pressure on the skin or even exercise. In some people exposure to even slight heat can cause hives.
Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have additional queries. Kind regards.
Hi Dr,
Just a quick update..My allergy test was negative..But For about last three-four days I noticed small bumps at the ring of my penis head. Its looks like some kind of small pimple and some sticky water kind of fluid is coming. I did check with Dr and he said this may be some fungal infections...Dr gave me some antibiotic fungal cream which i am using right now...also he did the biopsy for the warts and that result also came back negative. Also now days I have swollen face and hand in the morning time. Do I need to check with Urologist in this case?
Thanks in Advance..
Hello,
As you are having swelling of the face and hands and bumps on the penis,so these definitely need to be evaluated. It can be due to angioedema, idiopathic edema, cardiac or kidney disease.A comprehensive profile of investigations is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have additional queries. Kind regards.
