Upper Leg Itching

Roughly about a month ago I had an egg sized area on the front of my thigh that started to itch.  No new detergents or soaps at that time... Of course I started scratching some and the itching seemed to move to the outer edge of the area.  About a week later on my hamstring (non-connecting area of orig. rash) the same type of rash started as well, along with my other leg developing symptoms.  Each rash, once the initial itching has moved from the center, only itches on the outer rim of area but the entire area still has a light discoloration.

After 1 month now, the rash(s) have only stayed on the upper portion of legs and are not part of my groin area.  I've used Benodryl for ivy, etc, Hydro-1% and also Noxema.  The Benodryl helps itching but I'm becoming immune to the stuff. Hydro, not great results and Noxema hasn't sustained the itching for very long.

Any ideas?

I forgot something. The doctors told him he had some unknown fungus and were treating him that way. But the 100% polyester chair 'and he wore no shirt in the house most times" was too much for even antihistamines to keep under control. And oh yeah, when he told me to get out and don't come back. the sentence before that I forgot to say. He said I don't know what I am talking about, I am not a doctor! Essentially, the doctors ignorance about this matter killed my dad. Thus you can see why I feel so strongly about this epidemic and why I do what I do now. I stay home, disabled. Working for the people in this way. For my allergies have grown so bad to all synthetics, that I have to stay in a controlled environment most of the time. And can only go out for short spells and then come home to recover what ground I have lost. This way I keep on top of the allergen, enough that My skin is normal most times, and my mind is finally relaxed. Before it made me anxious all the time. Hyper, tense, talk all the time. Just a ball of fire running at full tilt! No one could even take being around me I was so excited. And exposure to allergies make me that way again. But most times now, I am mellow as a cucumber. Yes I am saying allergy to synthetics causes mental issues as well. anxiety so bad, you dig yourself a hole so deep with your own mind, that you never get out. Until the contact is prevented. And that report is also being submitted to BMJ as well.
The secret is out doctors! Sorry

Oh and people wondered why they keep getting infections! ha ha
Because they never had one in the first place. You know what the odds are for that? Slim as long as you keep clean. For the body can fight off minor infections like that before they grow, except for the few they know of. And that is why man didn't die of into exstinction, long before antibiotics were discovered. There is no mystery fugus they don't know of that keeps plaguing us. It is allergies being treated with methods that stop an allergic reaction! And once the body gets on top of it like I said, it may be months or even many years before it happens again. And this is the big secret. And if this doesn't make sense to you people, then you don't want to except the fact that doctors are not god and they can be wrong. And you don't want to face that this is not a one time thing that may have happened to you, and there is no reason to feel bad. You just can't face you have synthetic allergies. No one seems as if they can!
My dad died from it, and still didn't believe it. Well, that is why he died. It covered his whole body and one point. And being a big man with high blood pressure, he died from a massive heart attack, seeing that when the allergy gets that bad, you have anxiety like mad, itch like crazy, you can't calm down, your heart races, and blows out on you! And only I know what really killed him. I even said "DAD, why is my skin like a babies behind after all these years and yours still is not! And when I wear even a little polyester in my clothes or sit on it, it gets just like yours again! Please listen to me dad! You are allergic to that new 100% polyester chair you sit in all day. But he wouldn't get out of it!  he got so mad at me for me keeping on him that he is allergic to poly. that after a few times of it, told me to get out of his house and don't come back! That was the last thing he said to me!
Yes a polyester chair can and does kill. All over America people are having strokes and heart attacks from this and not one doctor knows. Until my report comes out at least.

Forget it. It is impossible for someone to except they have allergy to synthetics. So if this is, you will deny it to the bitter end, like everyone else does. And this helps the medical society to hide this epidemic. They say it is fugal infection, and maybe contact dermatitis, and thus prescribe an antihistamine and a antibiotic. This stops an allergic reaction and allows it to heal, and no one ever finds out, they never had a fungal infection in their life. Because the treatment for it also works for polyester. Even the ointment can shield the skin enough to protect it from the allergen. And helps the body then grow more tolerant in that area which it was weak for a time. But usually once an allergy starts, you always will have it to some degree. Thus it keeps coming back, and you will be treated for fugus again, and it helps the allergy again, and again in this way. Therefore you wonder why you keep getting this fungus and where the heck it is coming from! Answer is: you never had it. Not you, but by you I mean who ever it is. And over years of this doctors came to think that it is most often a persistant fungus, of some sort not discovered yet. And make money off you over and over, when polyester clothing should be taken off the market. I have submitted a report article about this in the BMJ journal of medicine, and it is being reviewed right now. This will be seen by doctors all over the world. And this truth will be out big time, in a matter of days! Did you know if you decrease the amount of allergen or shield it with ointment or cream, the bodies own defense can then get on top of it, and thus be stronger to it for long periods or forever? They deal with it in this way, and to still help people but keep this epidemic a secret. However it is most often a temporary fix. When you could wear cotton clothing instead, and be fine forever.
They have even fooled all the doctors in the world. Well not any more, for in a few days they will be reading my report, and this scam will be over!

Benadryl if prescribed to you is done so to stop allergic reactions by blocking the histamine production, which causes these type of eruptions. And remember too, that those pictures are all extreme cases of it and there are 15 pages of them there and so many look different from others. Everyone's looks a bit different, but the features are similar. Is it so hard to look at your tag and see if there is polyester in your panties and switching to all cotton ones? It can't hurt. Also could be latex. the elastic in the panty legs.

No, mine doesn't look like any of the pics.  When the rash is cool, it's non-bumpy.  When scratched or irritated it wants to form bumps on the outer edge of the irritated area. It is not uniform in shape and it tends to move slowly from one area of my upper leg to another (almost like hives).  I'm taking benodryl orally and Caladryl topically.  It seems to help so far but I don't like taking the oral meds.  I can tell you that when I have an itching attack, if I do scratch, the area tends to hurt afterwards.  Unlike anything else in the past.  No open sores though, at all.

Anyway, It has yet to move to another part of my body other than my upper leg area...strange.  It's very dry here in California so I'm thinking that might have something to do with this reaction.  I'm curious if a humidifier will help.  Any ideas?

Does it look like this? Copy and paste this link into your browser, and hit enter or go.  Even very close, because it varies, and these pics are enhanced to show better. The red is redder than it actually should be. I know, because I have it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be nummular dermatitis or ringworm. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rashes. If the symptoms persist then topical or oral steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case. Also then get KOH examination of the skin scrapings done to rule out any fungal infection or ringworm.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
