Urticaria Pigmentosa

I am 29 years old and have Urticaria Pigmentosa all of my life. I need to take an anti histamine to survive. I have taken Atarax most of my life. My husband and I are hoping to have a baby soon but we are concerned about the effects of the Atarax I take daily. I have gotten mixed answers from my doctors in regards to the safety of the medication during pregnancy. I'm wondering if anyone has an alternative that is safe or knows the effects of the medication during pregnancy. Benadryl is not a choice as I seem to have a bad reaction to it.
