Hi ,

A wide range of antifungal medications are available to treat fungal infections of the skin. However ,it is always best to have your condition assessed first. The dosage and dose required for the infection varies on where the infection is located and in the area involved. For instance fungal infections of the nails may require a higher dose and longer treatment than a fungal infection involving the skin of the back or trunk.

Also fungal infections may be prevented. This may be contagious so no sharing of towels, clothes and soaps.Use light and loose material for underwear and keep the area dry always.

Their are a lot of things that kill fungus. The same medication woman use for yeast infection. The fungal creams used for athletes feet. Or some home remedies like apple cider vinegar.
Many woman get this under their breasts but it wouldn't be on the small of your back. Fungus needs a warm moist environment.
One possibility is just dry skin. Winter itch. Just try cuting down on hot showers and use a good moisturizer.
