Wet feeling on knee caps, tops of feet

Out of nowhere, when I wear tighter fitting clothing like my jeans, where my knees may rub against, my knees feel as if they are wet. Wearing loose pants or less rough material does not cause this, but this used to happen to I am at a loss. It can be very uncomfortable.

Similarly, sometimes when I have socks on I get a faint wet feeling but nothing as intense as my knees.

I'm wondering if it's dry skin as my whole body seems to be a bit more sensitive lately.

Any ideas? Thanks
