What might cause red bumps on a child's nose?

My 11 year old has red pimples on and around his nose.  He has not begun puberty.  Wondering if his stuffy nose and swollen adenoids have any connection to this symptom.  Thoughts?

Red pimples on and around his nose sound like classic pimples and a sign of impending puberty. It does not sound connected to the other issues you mention. Taking him to a dermatologist may be a good idea to treat them before they scar by picking at them etc.
