I have these strange white bumps underneath my skin. They are visible, but not itchy or annoying. The only one I have that is not underneath the skin is the big one on my back. I was wondering what it could be, because all of the dermatologists I have seen have told me that its keratosis pilaris or acne, but I don't think it is. Could it be a skin infection? Could it be a fungus or what?
You would need to describe the lesions to us in detail so that we may be able to help you. Have you consulted a skin specialist? Are you on any medications currently?
Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions. You would need to consult your doctor for a confirmed diagnosis after a clinical examination.
Let us know about how you are doing and if you need any other information.
