White Specks on Nose and Chin

Do you know what these white specks around my chin and on my nose are and how to treat it? Here is a picture I've taken of my chin with the flash on http://img392.imageshack.us/my.php?image=92616784mp6.jpg
Here is a close up of my chin with the camera flash off and me stretching the skin to give a better view of the problem. http://img71.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00006vp4.jpg  These pictures were taken many days apart. Here is a pic of a similar problem on my nose with the flash off. http://img518.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dfghw5.jpg. Is it the same problem as on my chin?

Any idea why this is happening and what I should do to prevent this from reoccuring? Am I simply taking poor care of my skin? I wash my face twice a day with a mild cleanser and don't expose my skin to the sun much.

Thanks for the quick reply doctor. I just have a couple more questions for you and if you still think they are sebaceous glands, I will go to an esthetician promptly.

Here is an old picture I've taken after washing my face: http***img84.imageshack.us/img84/6960/dsc00030ow0.jpg
What is the waxy stuff?

There are also some specks on my nose that look greenish and when rubbed off leave a small hole in the skin. What are those?

I've got medication prescribed to me by a previous dermatologist visit. Do you think Clindamycin Phosphate 1% or/and Retin-A-Micro would help with this problem?

Oh and refering to your previous answer, when you say 'this is temporary', does that mean once I've gone to an esthetician, this will no longer be a problem or will it still flare up now and then?

Thanks in advance doctor. I really appreciate the advice you give.

Both look like prominent sebaceous (oil) glands).  These are normal variants.  When people are bothered by them, they see estheticians who perform facials to squeeze them out.  This is temporary.  You'll need to see a doctor in person to confirm my impression from looking at the pictures.

Best.
