aching penis

I have a little redness, wut looks to be stretch marks, and 2 small bumps right under the head of my penis. i havnt had sex in about 8 months but i have warts on my hands... i was wondering if its possible these small bumps are warts transfered from my hand, or if its due to over masterbating. i used a tube sock once to masterbate and i noticed it made my penis sore and sensitive afterwards..so i stopped using tube socks but the stretch marks and bumps are still there. the bumps do not look like a regular wart, it looks more like dry skin and is a little ruff to the touch. could this just be a normal skin irritation?

Hi,

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites.

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .

Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.

Regards.

well I went to a doctor and he told me that they are warts. But they are very small. The doc then froze them and said they would flake off. Well that didn't happen. They are still there. He actualy told me that I could use over the counter wart removers on my genitals, even though most products tell you not too. He then said the redness could be heat rash, but this has been a few months now and it has still not gone away. Why are my testicles red? They don't itch at all. I even used tinactin to maybe get rid of a fungus but no luck has come. It's hard enough dealing with this new problem of genital warts to be worried by another. I didn't even have sex and I got it! WTF

Hi,

This can be either the warts as yiou mentioned or  a rash which has developed due to friction.

The best way forward is to get it examined. Since you indicated that you did not have a sexual encounter in 8 months, I would not like to think of this as an STD, but given that you have already had warts, it is possible that this may be a wart which is still developing.

Keep the area clean and hygienic. Apply gentle moisturizers and use anti-histamines in case of itching. Wait for a couple of days with these measures. If does no get better, it is time to see a doctor.
