big blister on heel from running

ive been running close to 45 mins about every day (more or less) for about 3 months or so. i use reebok easy tone sneakers (which ive heard are not good for running??) and i do intervals of walking and running, more walking than running usually. a few days ago my left heel started getting very sore during my run and when i got home it was a sizeable water blister, probably from the friction of my sneaker, even tho i was wearing socks. i safely popped the blister with a sterile needle, drained it as much as possible and put a blister treatment pad over it and medical tape. i went running with this the next day (less than i usually run) and it started getting a little irritated again after like 35 mins, but not as bad. i stopped running and when i got home and looked at the blister it had formed again and was even bigger!! that night i popped it again and did the same thing. now its kind of just a sore flap of skin.. can someone tell me why this is happening and how to get rid of it..? its ONLY my left heel.... its preventing me from running bc its still sore and i dont wanna irritate it more. do i need new shoes? am i running the wrong way? pls help!! thanks

I am on my second pair of easytones, and I am not happy. I thought first pair was a fluke, so I bought a pair of the easytone runners in purple/grey but again after only 6 mths they started giving me a blister on my left heel just like the other pair did. I only walk 2.5 miles 5 days a week on a treadmill.  I am very upset about this.  I would like to know if there are other toning shoes that hold up better, and do not look like moon shoesm, as the nike shoes did work out legs more.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm a diagnosis without examination, but it can be foot blister.

When a foot is hot and sweaty, the sock sticks to the foot. The sock and foot then rub against each other and the inside of the shoe causing blisters to appear.Plantar fibromas are firm, nodular masses which occur as a single mass or in clusters on the arches of the foot.

Wear shoes that fit properly and keep feet as dry as possible.Wearing wet shoes, boots and socks will increase your chance of developing blisters. So change socks regularly.
And use foot powder to help keep your feet dry.If the blisters still persist then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist/podiatrist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
