black oily spots on cheeks

I have the same problem for goin on 9 years now, when i was 19 it just started n i have no idea why, its like ink, i can produce it anytime by just squeezing my cheeks, its only in the cheek area, i asked a doctor once n he didn't know or even look into it, when ever i get hot it just appears, goes away just by rubbin water on it, i constantly go to the washroom to make sure its never there, its embarrassing, it looks grey on toilet paper after, i've had to put up with it for a long time n decided to check the net for answers, hard to find anything even mentioned about it except what i read here, thought i'd post n one day find out what it is or a cure for it

OMG, I have the same problem!!! I also have NO clue what it could be, it started when I was 19, I noticed it at the gym and thought it was just dirt, now 11 years later I have no answers as to what it might be. It is no fun! I too, have noticed it only happens when my face gets hot, exercise, flushing, or just sitting in the sun for a brief moment will cause it to appear.

Oh my gosh, several years ago I searched online for an explanation of a condition I had, but could never find any information. Your problem is exactly what I have. I get these little black spots on my cheeks just below the corners of my eyes. I too can wipe them off with water. I get them usually when I'm flushed or sweating, but can get them just sitting there completely relaxed. I use to think it was dirt, but I get them occasionally right after showering. I started running again on a regular basis and they eventually pretty much went away. Once I stopped running though they came back so if I exercise regularly to the point of sweating a good deal they go away. Once I stop though they come back. It ***** having to check a mirror so often to see if the black dots have appeared. I'm almost OCD on licking my finger and wiping the area. Oh what I would give to find a cure/answer to what it is. Is is Chromhidrosis? Has anybody found anything out about it?

I think I started this post a while back.   I have been told it is called chromhidrosis.  It happens to me all the time, but it is much worse when my face flushes, I am in direct, hot sun, and when I sweat.  Sometimes the spots appear for no reason.

I have been to every doctor you can think of and have really had no advice.  My only "solution" has been to sweat it out.  I put a space heater in a small room in my house, work my a$$ off on the elliptical machine, and then I rarely have spots showing up.  I find that if I do this every other day then I am in pretty good shape.  I know this is not the best solution, but at least it keeps me in shape at the same time.  It really is the only reason I work out.  It's too bad that I can never get a doctor to take it too seriously.  The docs often just shrug their shoulders and say, "Well, that's interesting.  I've never seen that before."

I have the same thing and posted about it.
You can see the photo of the spots on my cheeks in my profile.
Someone sent me messages on how he is dealing with it, if you want me to forward them to you.
He says he goes to the sauna, exercises every day, and eats butter and hasn't had much problems with the spots anymore.
I still get the spots, especially when I get hot or flushed in the face. It would be nice to find out why this happens and how to prevent it.
I wonder if it could be toxins leaving the body...
