bump between anus and scrotum

No sexual activity for almost 5 months (for some background) I have a bump in between my anus and scrotum. It is painful, feels "raw". I did try to pop it, but wasn't successful, as it was too big/under the skin (there was no exterior bump)...I can't really see it...but it is very soft now (i think it has been the entire time)...I have suffered from hemroids for quite awhile...and just recently started a new prescribed cream for them...the roids before were always interior...could this be exterior? It's not right on the rim of the anus, like i said...further between the two places.

Have not had any other things feel wrong with me.
