MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Are there other symptoms present? This could be an inflamed hair follicle or a sebaceous cyst. A sebacious cyst is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin that has a lining that resembles the uppermost part of a hair follicle and fills with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum. They may occur anywhere on the body except the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. In males a common place for them to develop is the scrotum and chest .They are more common in hairier areas, where in cases of long duration they could result in hair loss on the skin surface immediately above the cyst. They are smooth to the touch, vary in size, mobile and are generally round in shape. It could be brought about by blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles, and excessive testosterone production.

Sebaceous cysts generally do not require medical treatment. However, they can be surgically removed if they continue to grow, they may become unsightly, painful,or infected. If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. Visual inspection and physical examination are needed to reach a diagnosis. Take care and regards.

Im currently sufferig from similar symptoms to what has been stated above, I have a gnat/moscito sized bite between my testicles and rectum. Furthermore Im 15 years old, this links with the fact that the spot like bump occurs when rapid testosterone growth takes place. Overall I believe I have what that guy was talking about as my symptoms are very similar to what he was saying... however I want to know if there is a way the swelling growth will go away quicker, pls can someone get back to me asap as im a little nervouse incase this may be something diferent and much worse. I actually have the same thing too. And its smaller than a pea for me but it is uncomfortable so ive been trying to figure out what it is and still havent found much of anything. Is yours inflamed or no? Because mine isnt. I think it might be an excess growth maybe? If its on the outer part of the skin like mine is.
