bump on penis--not really visible

about a month ago i noticed a hard bump in the shaft of my penis. it is almost unnoticable and can only be noticed when pushed together,,i know it is a bad idea to try and pop it which i tried and didn't work...,, is it possible that im just over reacting,,i have no pain,,there is no discloration (looks just like color of skin down there except you can see the round shaped bump  a little whne you squeeze gently squeeze it togthere),,,just feels like a hard rock and i like every other male would be im concerned,,,i have donated blood 4 months after i have gotten oral sex, and i did not get oral sex since a year before that,,,does donating blood cancel out the chance of STD's,,,or is it likely that its not STDs given that its been the same for the last monht and doesn't hurt and doesn't turn colors,,,thanks for your help

Bumps that can only feel under the skin are generally cysts, which are normal anatomic variants and not STD's.  My advice is to leave it alone and show it to your doctor next time you go.

Best.
