bump on vagina?

I just recently noticed a white bump on the lip of my vagina. It doesn't have a defined border so I don't think it's an std. It doesn't hurt unless I touch it. I've had it for a few days now and it doesn't seem to be getting better. It's starting to worry me.  Has anyone had something similar that could help or know what it could possibly be? And how to make it go away?

It looks more like an infected hair follicle or a cyst rather than herpes sores. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
