Dear Doctor, the bumps subsided without any pain, it took almost 2 weeks. There is a tiny pink scar where they were, but barely noticeable. I continued to shave the area, and now further below those spots that healed, I discovered 2 very tiny bumps that are flesh colored right next to eachother. Painless, nor burning or tingling...a slight itch now and again. I tried squeezing them lightly to see if it hurt or would pop and it neither popped or hurt, however, if I rubbed them they felt slightly tender, but never changed in size or color. After 5 days of them being there and not changing I got fed up and cut them open (stupid). I pulled out whatever hairs I could see around there, but now it is definitely tender and red, I am affraid I infected the area, I messed with it for a good hour with a needle and tweezers. I believe I made a small problem bigger. What does it sound like to you? I appreciate your opinion greatly!
Possibly Molluscum contagiosum.
It can be due to folliculitis. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin.It starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.
