Hello,
Burns caused by hot grease are second-degree burns and require proper care to prevent infection or scarring. For these kind of burns; you can apply antibiotic cream such as silver sulfadiazine (Silvadene). It will prevent infection and help in fast healing. You can also take the pain killers that have been prescribed to you. Keep the area clean and if there is any blistering then avoid puncturing the blisters.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hi, thanks for query.

In case of persistent problem in spite of treatment you are still having trouble; the best way is to go back to same doctor. If you are not satisfied with the treatment you can always take a second opinion. As a patient you always have that liberty.

Wishing you good health
